Floor Cleaning Products & Autodosing

Hako auto-dosing systems automatically dispense accurate amounts of commercial floor cleaning supplies into water to ensure the correct mix for the job because the resulting solution uses precisely how much product it needs and no more, it cuts down on waste and ensures an optimal cleaning performance. Some other features and benefits of using autodosing systems with industrial floor-cleaning chemicals include:

Consistent, predictable results

As the amount of cleaning product added to the solution never changes (unless set to a different level), the results are supremely consistent. They can be dialled in to suit the exact circumstances.

Maximum efficiency and time-saving

Traditional methods of measuring out floor cleaning products to be diluted and mixing them were time-consuming and easily miscalculated. Luckily, these issues no longer apply with the advent of autodosing systems, saving time and money.

Cost-effectiveness

Waste is one of the most significant, frustrating expenses any industry faces. Because commercial floor cleaning products are measured consistently and accurately, waste is minimised and costs reduced.

Environmental impact

At a time when environmentally responsible concepts like recycling and sustainability have never been more crucial, the ability to reduce waste has a significant impact on the ecological footprint of any cleaning routine.

Automatic Dosing Systems

The advantages of using a dosing system are manifold. Always having the correct detergent dilution means using significantly less detergent in everyday practice. Less detergent use is better for the environment and simultaneously lowers your costs without reducing the quality of cleaning. A dosing system ensures the cleaning result is always as it should be.

Picture05 Hako dosing system for the 5L can, 10L can, and 200L drums

Dosing system for use with 5 and 10-litre cans (dosing system SP 5829) or 200-litre barrels (dosing system SP 1841-2). The principle behind these systems relies on the clever use of a Venturi system that utilises the reduced pressure of liquid as it passes through a constricted section and increases in velocity. It is incredibly simple and effective; no electricity is required, just a hose connection to a freshwater tap. Once the right solution concentration is manually set, the system handles the rest and delivers accurately diluted concentrate.

This system also works according to the Venturi principle and is equipped with a non-return valve, allowing for a permanent connection with the freshwater service pipes. The system is completed with a stylish cover, and the desired dilution can be set manually.

Hako Fast-Fill system
The Hako Fast Fill system is designed explicitly for fast-filling the larger scrubber-drier machines. The Fast-Fill inlet automatically fills the holding container with a ready-to-use solution and shuts off on completion. This is all achieved without using electricity from the mains or batteries. Users can pour 300 litres of cleaning solution from the holding container into a scrubber-drier within minutes. Compare this with manually filling a large scrubber drier, which can take up to 30 minutes or more. The quick-fill method eliminates any costly, unnecessary waiting time for the cleaning staff, optimising hired time. Please ask your Hako account manager about acquiring a Fast-Fill system for your location. It is a decision you will not regret.

Hako Onboard

Hako’s on-board dosing system

Our superb onboard dosing system is equipped with a variable-speed pump. The amount of cleaning detergents added to the system depends on the amount of water supplied. The concentration is infinitely adjustable and remains constant throughout the operation. This reliably prevents over or under-dosing, even when the operator increases or reduces the water supply. This system can also be used with machines not equipped with a water pump.

On-board dosing offers significant health and safety benefits around manual handling. No heavy drums to lift and store, just exchange the 2L or 5L bottle on-board to renew your detergent supply. Simple!
